In my 35 plus years of hairdressing, I can honestly say I have touched many lives of people in more ways than one.  As a hairdresser, you become a confidant and a friend, and you can definitely influence your client’s social life and shape part of their personality with the way you help  your client wear their hair.  I get a real buzz when a client “bounces” out of my salon with a new look, so excited to be seen out and about.  I get an even bigger  buzz when clients travel more than an hour to come and sit in my chair. I have watched families grow up and have children of their own.  To have three generation families sit in my chair really tells me I am doing something right
